useful information concerning the November 2006
flooding and other disaster relief:

Many families, like the Kilbournes in Index,
were not only devastated by the flooding
in November, but also suffered when
Washington State was hit by severe
winter storms that brought high winds.
The Kilbournes generator was flooded
beyond repair, then when the high winds
came they were left without power or
water. Churches in Monroe got together to
purchase a new generator, so now the
Kilbourne family can live out the rest of the
winter without this concern.
